I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these inexpensive pruners are. They are very light, very sharp, and have a clip to keep them closed while carrying around or for storage. They easily rinse or wipe clean and show no sign of rusting.
They probably wouldn't stand up to heavy use by professional gardeners, but for occasional use they're perfect. |

| These are very nice pruners for the price. When they get dull or broken, you can just buy another pair. |

| We have been using this pruner for a few months now and its a good basic pruner, lightweight, handy and very reasonably priced. The only thing I'm not sure about is the locking mechanism which seems a little flimsy but again I've been using this for a few months and it has held up. |

I bought this item several years ago, sold as the True Value Hardware brand, but obviously an unmarked Fiskars item. It fits well in a pants pocket, the little latch can be operated one-handed, never has gotten dull, never has rusted, never has broken, cuts almost anything up to 1/2".
And it has the anvil pruner advantage of not slipping by or around what you're cutting. |
