Still $59.99 at Home Depot. Just got one. They are in the tool section with the other tool boxes. They did not have one on the shelf, but I pointed out the price tag on the shelf and they went to the back and got me one.
They are not on the Home Depot web site, but they have them in the stores.
This fits perfectly in the back of my Suzuki Samurai. I am using two Master Lock cable locks through the lock hasps to keep it secure. It gives me 7.77 Cubic feet of locking storage which is more than my Miata!
I do wish it were dust-tight, but it is not. I did 40 miles on dirt roads and everything in it was dusty afterward. |

| I was very impressed with the fit and finish of this 50 Gallon Stanley Portable Tool Chest and felt confident that it could survive the rigors of actually packing items in it and shipping via UPS or Fed Ex. In my work i must send lab equipment to specific sites so that i can teach others how to work with those tools. Recently i shipped the chest, via UPS, with about 75 pounds of equipment and bubble wrap, from NH to NM. The locking mechanisms were essentially torn from the case but managed to stay on. On the return trip, having repaired the locking mechanisms, Fed Ex destroyed the wheels and cracked the side of the case. That's two trips and two disasters. I would highly recommend this case for home use and job site storage. However, if you plan to ship anything, this is not the case to buy. |

| I bought this box so I could keep some of my tools outside during a deck project. During rain storms I discovered a water leak where the handle inserts into the box. It resulted in a good size puddle. Fortunately I had no power tools on that side. The hardware started rusting from day one and someday the latches will no longer operate smoothly. |

| I got mine today... solid as a rock... and it will hold everything I need it to! Not only does Home Depot have it for $60, ooops, I lied a little and told them Lowes had it for $49.99 so I got mine for $52.99 out the door!~ |
