I'm using this with the Weller digital soldering station - perfect for the automotive ECU project I'm building. You might want to buy 2, the tip is so tiny at the end that I can imagine some corrosion might build up with a lot of use. I haven't had any problems yet though.

| I had a failure in a major electronics component in my car and a replacement unit was $1800 retail. There were instructions on the web pointing at the failure mechanism - a cracked solder joint so I tried to re-solder the 1/64 inch square pad. It was not successful, but when I replaced the tip on my Weller soldering iron with this tip I was successful and my car works again. |

| Not much to say about this one, it is exactly as described and does the job well. Not sure why this is a "toy" but it is good for a laugh I guess. |

| Used this tip on a Weller WSD-51. Had no problems with SOIC and throughole components, but haven't used it for really small SMT stuff yet. |
