| I've always used the clutch style bar clamp and have about two dozen of various sizes of a bargain brand. They have always performed acceptable, but when I saw on some Bessey clutch style clamps at very reasonable prices, I thought I would try some. For just a little more money, the Bessey is twice the quality. So I needed some clamps with a little more reach and decided to give the tradesmen style a try. Very impressed, the adjustable arm stays where you put it, the bar stock is very "beefy". Quality at a reasonable price. No more bargain brand for me. |
