| My old floor lamp broke so I decided to buy this one. It has been working perfectly since I purchased it. It took less than 15 minutes to set it up. The only downside is that the shades are made of plastic, it would have been nice if they were made of glass. Beside that little downside, great product. |

| I received the lamp within 3 days of ordering - to replace a similarly designed, high-end halogen lamp with a dimmer that went completely shot after 12 years of somewhat unreliable use. This lamp was easy to assemble, functional and well designed, with one exception: Both plastic shades are slightly short of completely hiding energy-saving bulbs. It still looks good enough for my office/study and provides good light. TIP: Use 'soft white' energy-saving bulbs for a warmer effect. This lamp is well worth the price. |

| i got this lamp from the "today's deal". it works fine but i wish it has a separate switch for the small light. now turn it once, turn on the big light, 2nd time turn off the big light and turn on the small light, 3rd time turn both on, 4th time turn them all off, in that sequence. if you want to just turn on the small light sorry you will have to go through the sequence. |

| We were in the market for a floor lamp that could be used as the primary light in the room but also could be used as a reading light. The capability of having 2 bulbs in the torchiere portion allowed us to provide decent illumination in the room using only this lamp. We positioned the lamp immediately behind the couch, which provided us with easy switching of the light, and the reading light is night enough to reach over the shoulder of the reader. |

| This lamp is very unique in that it can hold up to 3 light bulbs. The main upper lamp has two bulb sockets, plus a 3rd bulb socket for the reading lamp arm. If you use a power saving fluorescent bulb, you can use two 40 watt fluorescent bulb for the main light, which gives the equivalent of 300 watts (150w x 2) of standard incandescent or halogen light output for only a quarter of the energy costs (40w x 2). There is no other torchiere style lamp that will allow this level of brightness and long term cost savings. |
