| Loose seal, oversize lens, quality construction, GREAT view! | 2010-07-09 | 4 / 5 |

I think my title says it all. I wanted tight sealing goggles for mowing grass, so that the debris wouldn't get to my eyes and irritate them, cause redness, allergy type symptoms, and drying. These goggles 'mostly' fit tightly but on my facial anatomy they leave up to a 1/8 inch gap between the top of my cheek and nose area. For a chemical splash probably not a terrible situation, but then again... For the particulates that get generated from a 60 inch mowing deck, dust does creep in. It would have been better if DeWalt had made the elastomeric part of the goggles deeper so you could tighten them up on your face to eliminate such gaps, but that is not possible without making them so tight as to be uncomfortable.
The size of the polycarbonate lens is not a functional problem by itself, although one poster did mention how the bow of the goggles hits his hearing protection muffs pushing them back off his ears. This is not a problem for me, however. I'm able to keep my Racetunes headset muffs on for music and wear these goggles. So if you only need the goggles, the lens size is not a problem (other than looking like some mono-eyeball alien to the neighbors!).
On a more positive note, the goggles are a really nicely made, quality product. The elastic band is nice and wide and the plastic parts molded well. With them on my field of vision outside on a sunny day was absolutely excellent. Furthermore, I sometimes need to wear reading glasses and I can wear them under these without a problem (you might not think you could but I did quite easily, and they are big reading glasses).
In short, I'm very pleased with these goggles and would recommend them. They'd get 5 stars if they sealed better, something entirely to be expected in such eyeware. |

| I live in Phoenix, AZ. The summer sun here is brutal (wish I could move to Northern California). These goggles work great while driving. I am too old to worry about how I look and much more interested in comfort. I don't care if I look like an old space cadet I want to be comfortable and these goggles are great for driving in Phoenix's brutal horrible summer sun. They fit over my glasses and provide eye protection and good peripheral view. |

| When using ski goggle for winter snow blowing and simple safety goggle for summer yard work, fog is a annoying problem for me. I have experienced no fog with this goggle during a 6 hours tree cutting using a chain saw. |

These goggles are really comfortable and have great visibility, even when wearing presciption glasses inderneath. They are durable (when cared for properly) and easy to clean.
They fog up. The vents are not adequate to vent sweat vapor without condensing on the lens at the corners of the goggles. They have to be removed and the moisture wiped clear to insure visibility. Summer is not here in Texas yet so they will have limited use in hot/humid conditions. The molded facepiece seals great and keeps moisutre channeled outside but there is not adequate ventilation inside. |

| My heads a little too big for it to fit perfectly. Other than that, it was a good buy. |
